Kunhadi was launched on October 11, 2006 after the fatal crash of 18-year-old Hady Gebrane, aiming to introduce a new culture of safe driving habits and practices in Lebanon to prevent this tragedy from repeating itself to other family.
A decade and myriad projects later, we are proud to be marking our 10th anniversary!
To celebrate this milestone, Kunhadi is organizing a high-profile road safety conference that will shed light on road safety internationally, regionally and locally.
A large number road safety experts coming from different fields will be joining us.
Representatives from the Lebanese Government, Private Sector, Academic field as well as representatives from international organizations like the World Bank, World Health Organization, FIA Foundation, Global Road Safety Partnership, UN-ESCWA, will be coming around together in panels to highlight key information on the development of road safety and the plans to enhance road user safely.
Local media will also be present to cover the event and spread information discussed to help the Lebanese public understand this cause better.
